Your Text & Privacy
All word counting, readability analysis, and keyword density calculations run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your text is:
- Never sent to our servers
- Never logged or recorded
- Never shared with any third party
- Never used for advertising or profiling
You can verify this by opening your browser's network inspector (F12 → Network) while typing — you will see zero outbound requests containing your text.
Local Storage (Auto-Save)
WordlyCounter uses your browser's localStorage to
auto-save your work between sessions. This data:
- Stays entirely on your device
- Is never transmitted to us
- Can be cleared at any time via your browser settings or the Clear button in the editor
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the tool is used in aggregate. Analytics data is:
- Fully anonymised — no personal identifiers
- Never sold or shared with advertisers
- Used only to improve WordlyCounter's features
Third Parties
